The Zombies is a one-shot project by Federico Idà, a multi-instrumentalist and composer who was a member of the Italian rock band Apoteosi, and Massimo Idà, a producer and engineer. The Zombies only released one 7inch in 1979, which was reissued unofficially in 2014 with poor sound quality, but has now been remastered and reissued by BEST RECORD ITALY! Federico Idà is also known for his Italo classic Sandwich "Let's Go", also reissued by BEST RECORD ITALY. Italo-disco space synths and various sound effects are blended with funk drums. The robot-voiced vocals are combined with a unique psychedelic flavor to create Italo Boogie! In The Land Of The Zombi", a cosmic interpretation of the original, is an electronic disco masterpiece with a more trippy element!
