Australian singer-songwriter Ruel, born October 29, 2002, in Sydney, Australia, is a 20-year-old who mastered the guitar at the age of 8 and began writing songs on his own. He was exposed to the world of soul, blues, and jazz by his father, and was greatly inspired by Stevie Wonder, Dave Brubeck, and Amy Winehouse, and began writing songs about his experiences as a teenager. Discovered by Grammy-winning producer M-Phazes, who has worked with Eminem and Logic, her self-funded debut single, "Don't Tell Me," garnered attention and earned her a worldwide deal with RCA Records in 2017. That Elton John was an early fan of Ruelle's and said, "You are a great singer. You have the most amazing voice I've ever heard in a young male singer. He performed at POP SPRING in March 2018, his first show in Japan. In August of the same year, after the release of his debut EP "READY," he returned to Japan for SUMMER SONIC 2018. The following year, in March 2019, they performed in Japan for the first time alone, captivating Japanese fans. 2022 saw the release of three new songs, "Let the Glass Grow," "You Against Yourself," and "Someone Else's Problem," and in early 2023, the ballad "Must Be NICE" was released.
