Shabazz Palesez is the hip-hop project of Butterfly, a member of the Grammy Award-winning Digable Planets. The project has released two seven-song mini-albums simultaneously, "Loved in Rareness" and "Exotic Birds of Prey," both of which assert futurism by interweaving the past with the present Shabazz Palaces will release a seven-song mini-album, "Exotic Birds of Prey," on Sub Pop Sub Pop. This is a follow-up to their well-received album "Robed in Rareness," which was released digitally in October 2023.
