The latest orchestral album by post-classical charismatic Max Richter, streamed over 200 million times. The world premiere recording of the ballet music "Exiles"! Exiles is the music for the ballet Sanguliere Odyssee (Singuliere Odyssee), which premiered at the Netherlands Dance Theatre in 2016. The ballet was performed at the Netherlands Dance Theatre's Japan tour in June 2019.The work is based on the "migrant crisis" that fled the civil war caused by the March 2011 democratic movement known as the "Arab Spring." The orchestral versions of Richter's signature pieces, including "On the Nature of Daylight," are newly recorded. The gorgeous sound of the orchestra adds to the emotional impact.
