The Transparent World of Pelto with a cappella chorus Estonian vocal group Vox Clamantis sings with deep empathy on this collection of works by Pelto, a great composer from his homeland. In September 2015, Pärt celebrated his 80th birthday with a series of performances in his native Estonia and around the world. The 2013 Grammy Award-winning album "Adam's Lament" (476-4825) also featured "Alleluia Tropes" by Vox Clamantis, and now an a cappella version is included on the album. The music, which crystallizes Pelto's great expressive power and tranquil, transparent lyricism, gently envelops the listener's heart. Universal Music/IMS
