Master Fabio Biondi! Playing the Stradivarius 1690 "Tuscan"! Fabio Biondi, a master of Italian classical music, has been recording solo, chamber, concerto, opera, oratorio, etc. on the prestigious Spanish classical music label "Glossa" as his new active place. In his latest recording, he uses a Stradivarius "Tuscan" (Toscana) made in 1690, which is known as one of the finest instruments among a limited number of Stradivarius. It is one of the five (Tuscan Quintet) made for Ferdinando de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, and is a gem representing the "challenging period". After the breakup of the Medici family, it was traded among various collectors and dealers, and since 1953 it has been owned by the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and played by famous Italian violinists such as Gioconda De Vito and Pina Carmirelli. 2018 "Tokyo It was also one of the 21 violins unveiled at the Stradivarius Festival 2018.
