The Beach Boys - Sail On Sailor -1972 SHM-CD

The Beach Boys release a new box set, "Sail on Sailor 1972," featuring new remastered versions of 1972's Carl & The Passions - So Tough and 1973's Holland, as well as previously unreleased material from this era.

The 6-CD super deluxe edition includes new remastered versions of both albums, plus bonus tracks that include demos, unreleased outtakes, alternate versions, and rare recordings from this era. Also included is an unreleased live album recorded at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Thanksgiving Day, 1972. This is the first complete release of a Beach Boys concert from this era, featuring 80 previously unreleased tracks out of a total of 105.

The Super Deluxe Edition also includes a 48-page booklet with liner notes by Howie Edelson, interviews with members old and new to the Beach Boys, rare photos of the band, producer notes, promotional memorabilia, and more.
