Dream Theater's Official Bootleg #11! Iron Maiden's "The Mark of Magic" all performances are released!
The 11th official Dream Theater bootleg will feature the complete performance of Iron Maiden's "The Mark of Magic!" Lost Not Forgotten Archives: The Number of the Beast (2002)" is scheduled for release on June 8, 2022.
Dream Theater, the pinnacle of progressive metal, is releasing the "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" series of official bootlegs of live performances, demos, studio outtakes, and other treasured recordings. (Lost Not Forgotten Archives) series. The 11th volume of the series is a unique project to cover other bands' historical masterpieces live, following the performance of Metallica's "Metal Master" in its entirety in the fourth volume of this series. The project includes the entire performance of Iron Maiden's masterpiece "The Number of the Beast" performed in Paris in October 2002. Although the band is not usually used to performing this repertoire and the band composition is different, Dream Theater expresses the charm (magic) of this masterpiece in their own way with their extremely accomplished playing and James Labrie's high tone vocals. The jazzy arrangement of "Gangland" towards the end of the album shows the band's superior musical skills. The album was previously released on their own Ytsejam Records label on a limited production basis, and now it has been reissued with the latest mastering and new artwork. The Japanese version is a high quality Blu-spec CD2 version.
