The album is composed of Italian songs, Neapolitan folk songs, and Italian pop songs from the mid-19th to the 21st century, including "Caruso," "Return to Sorrento," "Catari Catari," "Morning Song," and "Forbidden Music," and offers the listener the opportunity to enjoy Kaufman's passionate and superb singing, which evokes the hot blood of Italy. The orchestra will be conducted by the up-and-coming Asher Fisch with the Orchestra dell'Opera di Palermo Massimo.Kaufmann's songs are enlivened by passionate accompaniment full of Italian blood. Jonas Kaufmann was born in Munich on July 10, 1969. He graduated from the Munich University of Music and made his debut in 1993, and emerged as an ensemble member of the Zurich Opera since 2001. 2006 saw his international breakthrough with Alfredo at the Met and Don Jose at Covent Garden.
