Cyril Scott was a British composer active in the early 20th century, and the British composer and conductor Eugene Goossens, who lived in the same period, described him as "the father of modern British music. His style is similar to Debussy's, pleasant to the ear, and spiced with stylish humor and witty calligraphy. This is a disc filled with the joy of encountering unknown masterpieces. Nino Gvettadze is a Tbilisi-born pianist based in Amsterdam. His Chopin album (CC-72768) was released in 2017, and this is his second Challenge Classics album. King International.
