Description:

The Weinberg Project by the Polish Radio Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1968 by Agnieszka Duchmal, one of Poland's leading female conductors. Coupled here are two excellent early works, "Symphony No. 2" (1946), which evokes a Shostakovich-like atmosphere, and "Symphony No. 7" (1964), which begins and ends with an adagio sostenuto, with the harpsichord playing an important role in the scene changes Dux. Conducting the Weinberg project of DUX and the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra is Anna Duchimal-Mulotz, daughter of Agnieszka, who has served as the orchestra's assistant conductor since 2009. She is expected to bring her mother's musicality and leadership skills to the project. Tokyo M-Plus
