This is a bargain CD containing the two albums of Strawberry Alarm Clock, a famous West Coast psychedelic/soft rock band, their first album from 1967 and their second album from 1968, plus three bonus tracks. The most psychedelic of the band's growing soft rock albums, the first track "INCENCE AND PEPPERMINTS" is a big hit, but the band didn't actually sing the song themselves. The first track "THE WORLD'S ON FIRE" is a colorful and dazzling kaleidoscope of sounds that will make your brain sparkle! The second album from 1968 features the fantastic "Tomorrow," which symbolizes the band as a soft rock group, and "Pretty Song From Psych-Out," the theme song for the cult movie classic "Psyche Out," and more emphasis on harmony than the first album.
