Since signing to the label at the young age of 11, he has released approximately 30 US Top 10 hits and won a total of 22 Grammy Awards. In 1970, he founded his own music publishing company, Taurus Productions, and in 1972, he started his own synthesizer company, Moog's Synthesizer Axis, to explore his own music. This is a rare live archive of Stevie Wonder at the peak of his career in 1973.
This album features the concert held on March 3, 1973 at the Winterland Arena in San Francisco. In addition to songs from the "Talking Book" album released in October 1972, which included the #1 singles "Superstition" and "Sunshine," as well as many songs from the band's early albums in the 1960s, this is an outstanding set list filled with their best songs. The set list was full of their best-known songs.
This is a must-see archive for fans of the band, who, despite being only 23 years old at the time, show a high level of musicianship and a stunning performance.
