Greg Anderson, a member of SUNN O))), the dark drone band SUNN O))), and the leader of Southern Lord, known for their heavy rock releases, has released his first solo album under the stage name THE LORD! Greg Anderson is a guitarist who originally plays hardcore/sludge/heavy rock with skillful guitar riffs, while SUNN O)))) delivers exquisitely constructed heavy rock with a certain beauty based on drones. In this album, he expresses a sound that skillfully combines ruthless and beautiful drone/heavy rock that follows the SUNN O)))) line with SABBATH-influenced riffs that have been well known since the GOATSNAKE era. The cinematic finish is reminiscent of a movie soundtrack with visual projections. On one track, Attila Cshihar (MAYHEM/SUNN O))) / TORMENTOR, etc.) joins the band, bringing his signature haunting vocals. Her signature haunting vocals further deepen the dark feeling of the work.
