The first studio album by Bruce Lieu, the winner of the 2021 International Chopin Competition, described by the Financial Times as "a pianist with a fascinating musical personality". His first album, a live recording of the Chopin Competition, received international acclaim, including a Frederick Award, Gramophone Magazine's Critics' Choice and Editor's Choice, as well as being named Best Classical Album of 2021. Bruce Rioux was born in Paris and raised in Montaure. For this album, he has selected 200 years of French keyboard music, including Rameau, Ravel, and Alkan, to honor his own French roots. The Arcand piece is a new recording not in the Deutsche Grammophon catalog. Prior to its worldwide release, this album will be released in Japan in advance of its visit to Japan.
