Peter Breiner is known for his unique arrangements of works such as "Beatles Go Baroque." He is also an exceptionally gifted composer and, not to forget, pianist. This album features a series of piano pieces composed by Breiner himself in 2019-2020. Some of the pieces include an arrangement for piano of a portion of his 2015 composition "Slovak Dances," which is a tribute to Breiner's homeland of Slovakia (the original orchestral version is on 8.574184). All of the pieces are gentle and, as the title suggests, have a peaceful atmosphere and charming melodies that seem to gently envelop the listener. Naxos Japan
