The French group Café Zimmermann invites us to listen to the various faces of Vivaldi. The French classical instrumental ensemble Café Zimmermann, which has been presenting baroque works with a thoroughly honest interpretation and an extremely fresh sound, has long since made a new recording of Italian music. Although this is a collection of works by the very famous composer Vivaldi, we were first attracted by the diverse program, which is a well-balanced collection of vocal and instrumental music, with a focus on works that are rarely recorded. The title of this album, which evokes the colorful masked costumes of Venice's famous Carnival season, is a reminder of the variety of Vivaldi's musicality, which was based in the "City of Water," as you can strongly feel through the many works with various instrumentation on this album. As in the "Bach Concertos for Various Instruments" series, each part, except for the bass continuo, is performed by a single player, and the presence of each player stands out in the tight ensemble. The interpretation is again very careful in every detail, and yet the human warmth and momentum of the sound are so abundant that you can enjoy the pleasure of listening to Vivaldi.Karel Walther's graceful traverso and Benos-Zian, who has been active as a countertenor in recent years, as well as the two natural horns, which are played with great skill, provide a delightful accent here and there, and the well-balanced program of music from the early to the late period is well balanced, The program is well balanced from the early to the late period, and you can't help but listen to it one after the other at .......
