Sofia Melican is a pianist who studied in Armenia, Madrid, Paris, and New York and is known for her highly technical and expressive playing.The title of the album, "Perfil del aire," comes from the title of a book of poems published in 1927 by the Spanish poet Luis Cernuda, and was inspired by a line in the book, "Happiness is in the empty air.
