The debut album of the elite ensemble "Affinita", founded in 2012 by Baroque oboist Elisabet Baumer, brings together an elite group of Austrian and Italian classical musicians. Baroque oboist Elisabet Baumer has gathered together a group of the best of Austrian and Italian classical musicians to form the ensemble "Afinita" in 2012. The album features chamber works for woodwinds by seven composers of the 18th century, all of whom had close ties to Venice. The works include the superb virtuosity of the bassoon in Lotti's sonata, the deep lyricism and explosive emotional ups and downs of Ferrandini's oboe sonata, recorded for the first time in the world, and the thrilling musical dialogue between the two solo instruments in Platte's Trio Sonata for oboe and cello. The program includes many highlights.
