Debut album by Greek oud player and composer Timios Atzakas. The oud is a stringed repellent instrument classified in the lute genus, and is heavily used in the Middle East (especially Iraq). The pieces on this album are arranged by Atzakas himself, and like "Gnoshenne," which has been transformed into a completely different kind of music, each piece has a novel sound that evokes European jazz and oriental traditions.
