The penetrating, honest, and sincere performance is an expression of Hiroshi Nagao's pride in making music what it is. ＜He received the Ataka Prize while a student at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, where he also received a master's degree in instrumental music. While a student, he received the Ataka Prize. Studied at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Musique in Paris in 1995, and has performed with major Japanese orchestras including NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, and Osaka Symphony Orchestra, as well as giving solo recitals with Maxence Larrieu ( He has also performed with many orchestral players in Japan and abroad, including Maxence Larrieu (flute), Jean-Yves Fourmeau (saxophone), and Pavel Bellman (violin). In addition, he has premiered many works both in Japan and abroad, appeared at music festivals such as Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto and Suntory Hall Summer Festival, and appeared in the media such as NHK.He has released many CDs including "Evocation", "Ravel & Debussy" (Live Notes), "Messiaen: Vision of Amen" (Live Notes), "Playing Liszt & Reger" (Kojima Recordings) as a soloist, and also with Michel Becquet (trombone), Walter Auer (flute), Etsuko Kano (mezzo-soprano) and others. She has released a number of recordings and collaborations with Beke (trombone), Walter Auer (flute), and Etsuko Kano (mezzo-soprano).
