Finally, a live recording from CAN's heyday in Paris during Damo Suzuki's tenure, "Live in Paris 1973," the fourth in CAN's live series, is now available! Supervised by founding member Irmin Schmidt and producer/engineer René Tiner, this series of albums is a superb restoration of rare archival material in the highest quality using modern technology and sensitive work. The album was recorded in Paris in 1973, with Irmin Schmidt on keyboards and synths, Jaki Liebzeit on drums, Michael Karoly on guitar, Holger Schukai on bass, and Damo Suzuki on vocals, and was Damo Suzuki's last live appearance with the band. This was Damo Suzuki's last live appearance with the band. The album is released on 2 CDs, with original liner notes written by journalist Wyndham Wallace, and the Japanese edition comes with a bilingual translation.
