This is his first solo album in five years and 14th. The album is the culmination of the work George Winston wrote at City of Hope in early 2013 while recovering from bone marrow transplant surgery for myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) treatment he received at City of Hope (a comprehensive cancer center) near Los Angeles, selected from 59 songs that were recorded. The album contains 15 songs selected from the 59 songs recorded. Proceeds from the sale of this album will benefit City of Hope.
