This is the first in the "New Sounds in Brass" series released by Sony Music (then CBS Sony) in August 1972 and continued to be released for the next 40 years. It features classic songs by The Beatles, Burt Bacharach, and Paul Moriah with innovative arrangements, a large brass band, and powerful sound using the latest recording technology of the time, the SQ-type 4-channel stereo recordings.
