The Hollies were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, and are one of the founding members of this legendary band, which continues to change members to this day, Alan Clarke, one of the founding members and vocalist of this legendary band, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, is back on the scene with his latest solo album, "I'LL NEVER FORGET", following his comeback album "RESURGENCE" released in 2019, a miraculous comeback that ended his retirement for almost 20 years. I'LL NEVER FORGET! I'LL NEVER FORGET" is the result of a reunion with Graham Nash, a former Hollies bandmate and ally best known for his work as Crosby, Stills & Nash. The two old friends, both from Manchester, got together again after more than 40 years in the midst of a global pandemic and began writing songs together.The result was "Buddy's Back," a catchy tribute to rock and roll master Buddy Holly, who gave the band its name when they started together, "The Hollies. That beautiful harmony by Graham can be heard throughout the album, but this is an album by an artist named Alan Clark, who tackles spirituality, redemption, and romance. The song here, "The Presence of You," is the first song Alan wrote for his wife, Jennifer, after 59 years of marriage (by the way, his wife Jennifer is also featured in the Hollies' classic "Jennifer Eccles"). Alan Clarke commented on the album, saying, "This album is a great way for me to put my music to shame. Alan Clarke commented on the album, "This album takes me back to a time when I was ashamed of my music. I never thought I would be singing again, but I thought the songs on this album were good enough to try again, and I had a lot of fun making them. I hope that people who listen to this album will relate to it and feel the same emotions that I did."
