Due to the lockdown caused by the pandemic, the band lost the opportunity to test-drive new songs live as usual, but at the same time, the album reflects a variety of ideas without the concept of a deadline. Beginning with the preceding single "Eight Fivers," drummer Adam Faulkner and bassist Daniel Fox take influences from the sometimes heavy-handed and innovative production of contemporary hip-hop and add to it a kaleidoscopic spectrum of noise, devastating pop songs, effects-driven Add to that a flood of avant-punk, futuristic dancefloor nihilism,The 12 songs on this album represent a paradigm shift in sound that is unlike anything you have ever heard before.
