Spawned in the midst of a global lockdown, it was born in the summer of 2020 when Jacoby, Shaddix (vo), Jerry Horton (g), Tobin Esperance (b), and Tony Palermo gathered at the band's COVID security-enabled mansion in Temecula, Calif. It was born when they got together. What began as a way to keep the creative juices flowing in a world that seemed to have completely shut down, grew into something bigger and bigger, resulting in a sound/song that was highly purposeful, provocative, and confident. The album that the band Papa Roach has completed is the boldest, most brilliant work they have ever released.Last summer, the band released a new single, "Swerve," featuring FEVER 333 frontman Jason Aaron Butler and L.A. rapper SUECO, which made a big splash with its genre-busting music. Since then, the band has released a string of singles, including "Kill The Noise," which spent a month at No. 1 on the U.S. mainstream rock charts, "Dying o Believe," and "Stand Up," and continues to challenge the current scene head-on with its bold, evolving sound.
