Popular smooth jazz saxophonist Steve Cole's first new album in three years, after health problems, retains his groove-mellow sound with an R&B feel, but the emotional sound he has developed since his illness is a milestone in his return to a more organic mix. Since his 1998 debut album "Stay Awhile" produced by Brian Culbertson, Steve Cole has been a popular smooth jazz saxophonist. His pop, mellow sensibility, R&B and funk feel and groove are consistent in his sound on all of his albums. His catchy melodies have been a radio favorite, and he has consistently released new material. However, this is their first album in three years. After a health scare, this album is a sort of rebirth of his career. The album features the usual friends of Steve Cole, including David Mann, a valued partner since the release of his second album in 2000, and Ricky Peterson, one of the best sound creators of our time, as well as the "family" of Steve Cole. The sound of the album is also the same as that of Steve Cole's "family" of artists. The sound is also full of funky groove mellow sound! Steve Cole himself says, "Playing with my wonderful friends, I was able to put my optimistic and grateful feelings into music again," and "I want to share the healing energy and positive emotions I received with as many people as possible through this work. The organic feelings that have emerged from the difficulties and anxiety caused by the illness ooze into the music in a special way. The opening track, which features powerful horns and a saxophone solo, is filled with positive energy and a strong groove that expresses "the celebration of being able to live and enjoy a new day. The title track, on the other hand, is a slow ballad filled with David Mann's warmth and tears. With these and other influences from the soul and contemporary artists of yesteryear such as Ramsey Lewis and George Benson at its core, the 10 songs on this album are a definite milestone for Steve Cole. Although his works had a mechanical programming tendency for a while, in recent years, Steve Cole has been returning to live sound. This is a remarkable work that is imbued with even deeper emotion.
