Her brother, Sheku, is a well-known cellist. Isata's new album, Childhood Tales, is a charming collection of nostalgic music about children, written for adults. On this third album, Isata reflects on the magic of childhood. It revolves around D'Honani's "Variations on a Nursery Rhyme Theme," which created a true virtuoso piece from "Twinkle, Twinkle, Star." The group also performs Mozart's Variations from the same melody, a stunning masterpiece paired with D'Honagni's piece.The Domain of the Child, composed by Debussy for his six-year-old daughter, is a collection of familiar pieces such as "Golliwog's Cakewalk."
