Formed in Brooklyn in 2004, Grizzly Bear has released four albums, toured extensively with Radiohead and on their own, and been hailed by Pitchfork and the music press as the best of the US indie rock scene. After the release of "Shields" in 2012, the four members began to distance themselves from each other.Ed Drost (vo.) took a break from music and moved to Los Angeles, Daniel Rossen (vo. & g.) moved to upstate New York to concentrate on his own work, Christopher Bear (dr.) worked on soundtracks for TV shows while still playing, and Chris Taylor (g.) spent some time in Berlin before moving to Los Angeles to work on solo projects and produce for other artists. The band's first release on the RCA label, this album has been renewed over the past five years.
