Chick Corea (Armando Anthony Corea), a legend of the jazz world, passed away suddenly on February 9, 2021. Upon hearing the news of Chick Corea's death, Italian pianist Roberto Franca, who was about to finish his study of the 20 songs of "Children's Songs" by chance, decided to create an album containing his side as a classical composer as a tribute to the great master of the jazz world. Roberto Franca was born in the 1970s. Through three works composed over a 10-year period from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, Roberto Franca has completed an important collection of piano works that will help to re-evaluate Chick Corea as a classical composer, who has received little attention because his existence has been too closely associated with jazz and improvisation. This is an important collection of piano works that will help to re-evaluate Chick Corea as a composer of classical music. When we think of Chick Corea's "classical" music, Mozart recordings with Goulda and Arnoncourt are the first that come to mind, but there have not been many recordings or projects that spotlight Chick Corea as a composer, so this tribute album to this great musician is sure to attract attention! This is a tribute album to this great musician and is sure to attract a lot of attention! Roberto Franca is an Italian pianist of Croatian descent, and this is his debut album.He studied piano with Boris Petrushansky and composition with Marco di Bari at the Imola International Piano Academy.
