Norwegian art/jazz-rock band formed by the Thue brothers, Ove (vo/acoustic-g/per) and Trygve (vo/g/acoustic-g), who later played in Hole in the Wall, released on Norway:Philips in '73. The final album is newly remastered and reissued in '22 on CD by Norway:Norske Albumklassikere in digisleeve format! The languid psychedelic feel of the early years has faded, and the inclusion of live recordings of traditional numbers such as 'Halling', 'Trepak', and 'Texas-Lat' has further promoted the country/folk rock line that peeked out on the previous album "HORN", while adding a humorous pop sense to the album. The dry banjo/mandolin tones of Rune Walle and Trygve Thue, who also participated in HOLE IN THE WAL/FLYING NORWAGAINS, and the bluesy, austere vocals are a wonderful match! The master is a newly remastered sound source based on the Norway:Universal distribution master.
