For more than half a century, they have been the world's most beloved musical ambassadors of the psychedelic era, sending messages of freedom, love, and peace, and their one-of-a-kind presence is often described not as "just one band" but as a "cultural movement. In recent years, the Grateful Dead have released an archive series tracing their history through music, as well as an anniversary edition celebrating their 50th anniversary. BUILT TO LAST", the last Grateful Dead studio album released in October 1989.The album contains some of the Grateful Dead's best-known songs from the late period, including "Foolish Heart," "Standing On The Moon," and "Blown Away," and Brent Mydland, who joined the band in 1979, contributed to three of the songs, including the aforementioned "Blown Away.
