The band consists of four members of the driving force of the 1970s British rock movement, Free vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirk, Mott the Hoople guitarist Mick Ralphs, and King Crimson bassist Boz Burrell. supergroup, Bad Company. The group's debut on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label helped them to achieve worldwide success from the start, and they quickly became a top band. Bad Company's debut album, "Bad Company," released in 1974, debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. album charts and went 5x platinum, reaching No. 3 on the U.K. album charts in the U.K. and becoming a worldwide hit. The album was also a worldwide hit, reaching No. 3 on the U.K. album chart and No. 1 on the U.S. album chart. Following the release of the album, the band embarked on a 61-show tour of Europe, North America, and the UK. The November 30 concert in Newcastle, England was recorded and broadcast as a BBC Radio program, and this album captures the entire concert, including the encore, using the soundtrack from that broadcast (only the first song fades in because the radio DJ's voice is covered). At this point, three songs from the album "Straight Shooter" are performed.The CD version of this extremely rare live archive is a must-have for fans of the band, and includes two B-side single numbers and a free number!
