The result is an elegant and sublime dazzle. The graceful and elegant voice of Davlatz can be enjoyed to your heart's content in the best sound quality ever. Born in Annonay, a mountainous region at the southeastern tip of Auvergne, Canteloube (1879-1957) was a composer who studied with Dandy in Paris. He is a "regionalist composer," so to speak, whose works mainly incorporate folk songs from the Auvergne region. His "Songs of Auvergne," a masterpiece filled with rich colors and artistic beauty, is a masterpiece that immediately captivates the listener's ear, as the simple melodies of the songs blend beautifully with the orchestral accompaniment of his masterful writing. Born in Russia near the Polish border, Netanya Davlatz was evacuated to the Caucasus during World War II. After the war, she studied voice in Israel, her father's homeland, and made her debut with the Israel Opera. He then moved on to Western Europe, coming to the United States in 1962 to perform with Stokowski and Bernstein to great acclaim. Davlatz was fluent in eight languages and had a vast repertoire. She sang with a graceful voice, and "Songs of Auvergne" is a perfect fit for her. The commentary includes lyrics and Japanese translations of all the songs. The commentary includes lyrics and Japanese translations of all the songs, further deepening the significance of this all-CD release. King International
