The seventh installment of "Gekkan Idol" will be performed by Shiina Sakuragetsu (22/7), TORIENA, and Hagimori Jia! Gekkan Idol" is a project to release a new song every month by a variety of idol groups from all over Japan, featuring a vocalist who has a particularly attractive voice and singing ability, and provided by genre-less musicians. Each month, a unique illustrator is chosen to create an illustration-driven music video to showcase the new appeal of idols. The seventh song will be performed by Sakurazuki Shiina, a member of the idol group 22/7, which is comprehensively produced by Yasushi Akimoto together with Aniplex and Sony Music Records. The music will be composed by TORIENA, a music producer who writes lyrics, composes, arranges, and produces her own vocals, and features a rave sound that mixes hard techno, gabber, and digital hardcore, and lyrics with shadows. The illustrations are by Jia Hagimori, an illustrator from Hyogo Prefecture who specializes in delicate touches and often draws "students" with a sense of transparency and melancholy, making this collaboration different from the previous monthly idols.
