The second album by the Urban Saxophone Quartet, which performs in concert halls as well as at nursery schools, schools, and welfare facilities throughout Japan. The title "ties" (ties) is a reference to the encounters, bonds, and connections that have emerged from their various musical activities. The album is a mix of original saxophone works and arrangements of classical pieces, and is both accessible and enjoyable to listen to, not only for the skill with which the four virtuosos perform, but also for the quality of the recording, which conveys the atmosphere and atmosphere of the quartet. In addition to the original works by Boza and Rivier, the album also includes a rarely performed work by Reed. All of the music makes great use of the saxophone's performance and ensemble capabilities, and is very rewarding to listen to. The arranged works are all enjoyable, especially Piazzolla's "Shark" and Monti's "Czardas," which are standard repertoire pieces that are often played and popular in schools. This CD is an extension of the quartet's live performance program and allows the listener to experience the quartet's diverse appeal.
