Female vocalist Xana Lavey sings Celtic-flavored melodies in Spanish, and the songs are very powerful and haunting. Celtian is a Spanish symphonic folk metal band. The band was formed in 2017. They made their album debut with "The Druid'sAwaiting" as early as the following year in 2006. This was a big hit in their native Spain, and Celtian signed with Maldito Records, which released their second album, "En tierra de hadas" in 1919. Their latest album "Secretos de amor y muerte ~Secrets of Love and Death~" has just been released here in Japan, and their third album "Sendas de leyenda ~High King's Road~" will be released in 2009.Celtian's style, as the name suggests, is heavily inspired by Celtic music. Its basic style is folk metal featuring flutes, violins, and bagpipes. The symphonic arrangements in this album are more profound. Female vocalist Xana Lavey sings in Spanish with great charm. The melancholic melodies characteristic of Celtic music are very powerful and penetrating.
