The long-awaited latest album "Starfruit" is released on the Tru Thoughts label. The culmination of 10 years since their formation, this album expresses respect, understanding, and love for the members and guest artists. Filled with beautiful melodies and a personal message, "Starfruit" is the first time the band has brought in other artists, including Danny Hathaway's daughter Leila Hathaway, the talented singer Alex Isley, who is descended from the Isley Brothers, and others, Tank and the Bangas, L.A.'s femme rapper Il Camille, Moomoo Fresh, Shante Kang, Josh Johnson, and Lapsley, among others.Moonchild has also taken on a new sound, pushing into new sonic territory with an unprecedented level of sophistication, while retaining its trademark tone.
