Dina Ugorskaya's Memorial Edition of the Mean Clavier Pieces newly re-released! Dina Ugorskaya, daughter of the famous Russian pianist Anatole Ugorski and herself an international concert pianist, passed away in September 2019 at the age of 46 after a battle with cancer while serving as professor of piano at the Vienna State University of Music and Theater since 2016 She passed away in September 2019 at the age of 46. As a memorial disc for Ugorskaya, J.S. Bach's "Mean Clavier Works" by J.S. Bach, which had become one of Ugorskaya's most famous recordings, is newly re-released from the German C'Avi-music recordings, which had been built over a decade of fruitful collaboration. The originally released 5-CD set of the complete works (8553503) has been discontinued and will be sold separately as Volume 1 (2-CD set) and Volume 2 (3-CD set). This is the great legacy of Ugorskaya, who was hailed as a "philosopherat the piano" for his deep sensitivity and calm performance.
