Backing vocals are provided by Darren Love (who performed on the '68 Comeback Special), Cissy Houston (who joined Elvis on stage as a member of the Sweet Inspirations and as a backing singer), and Terry Blackwood of The Imperials, Terry Blackwood of The Imperials, Armond Morales, Jim Murray (who participated in Elvis' gospel work, "The Great God"), Bill Bayes of The Stamps Quartet, Ed Hill, Donnie Summer, Larry Strickland (who was in Elvis' backup group for a long time), and many others in the music world who shared the stage and studio with Elvis. The album also features a number of music legends who have shared the stage and studio with Elvis. One of the more notable tracks is the album's title track, "Where No One Stands Alone," which features Elvis Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who was born to Elvis Presley and Priscilla, and who also performed with Elvis on the album.
