Daniele Gatti will officially assume the position of the 7th Chief Conductor of the 128-year-old Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra on September 9, 2016, at the inaugural "RCO Opening Night" concert. To commemorate the occasion, a live performance of Gatti as a guest conductor with the orchestra will be released. Gatti is often said to have an extremely sincere attitude toward music and an unparalleled respect for music, and this attitude is evident in this performance.
