The youthful face of Marcos Váry, who does not seem to be 76 years old as he tears off the vinyl covering his body, and the album title, which means gray.... A seemingly strange concept, but one that means that even the chaos of Brazilian society and times cannot hold Marcos Vári, a musician who is somewhat quieter than the Marcos-style disco-boogie "Sempli," released in 2019 and a huge hit. However, "CINZENTO" is as good as its predecessor, with many mellow grooves reminiscent of Marcos Valli's roots in bossa nova and his collaboration with the late Leon Ware, who was a close friend of Marcos'. Most of the songs on this album are new songs written with young lyricists in 2019.Starting with "Reciclo," composed in collaboration with Emicida, a leading Brazilian rapper, the album features the bossa groove "Pelo Sim, Pelo Nao," reminiscent of the classic "Summer Samba," "Posto 9," a remake of a song with his good friend Honaudo Bastos, "So Penso em Jazz," a jazz bossa in 7/8 time, and the title track "Cinzento," which features the aforementioned Emicida. 9", "So Penso em Jazz", a jazz bossa in 7/8 time, and the title track "Cinzento" with the aforementioned emisida as a guest....
