The Union" (2010), a collaboration album with Leon Russell. Recorded at The Village in LA, the album was co-produced with Bernie Taupin, Elton's longtime songwriting partner of 48 years. Elton's old and trusted friends are also on hand: drummer Nigel Olson, who has been with the band since the late 1960s, and guitarist Davey Johnstone, who joined the band in 1972 for the first time since 2006's "Captain and the Kid" album. And longtime fellow percussionist Ray Cooper also joins on five songs.The ELTON JOHN AND HIS BAND's Japan tour in November 2015 was a great success, and the band was applauded for the great performance created by the cohesiveness of the band and for Nigel Olson and Davy Johnstone.
