In March 2020, amid the COVID-19 lockdown, Eanes launched his own online concert series titled “Recitals from Home,” in which he released six unaccompanied violin works by Bach and Ysaÿe in sequence. Following his collection of Ysaÿe’s unaccompanied violin sonatas (PONYX4198/ONYX4198)—which was selected as a “Special Selection” by *Record Geijutsu* and as an “Editor’s Choice” by *Gramophone*—Bach’s unaccompanied violin sonatas and Partitas are now available on CD! When it comes to Enes’s Bach solo works, the classic recording from 1999–2000 (AN28772-3) had become difficult to find in recent years, making this second recording of the “canon” a long-awaited release. Eines has been performing this masterpiece for many years, and his interpretation has evolved over time. More than 20 years have passed since the first recording, and she is said to be at the peak of her career right now.
