The songs and music videos are produced by a combination of idol group "singers" (members with a reputation for their singing ability), creators who can make songs that match the streaming era, and illustrators who can amplify the appeal of the idols. The vocalist, composer, and illustrator are changed each time, and as the name "Monthly" implies, the songs and music videos are released once a month. The vocalist for the eighth installment will be Rika Shimakura, a member of BEYOOOOONDS (CHICA#TETSU) and an avowed lover of Showa-uta songs. Project after her spring 2025 concert tour. Her first solo song will be written by Etsuko Yamakawa, the first woman to win the 1986 Japan Record Award for Best Arrangement for Kyoko Koizumi's "100% Gender Identity" and who has written and arranged over 1,000 songs for Onyanko Club, Marina Watanabe, and others. The lyrics were written by mido (THE BINARY), an artist with an emotionally rich worldview who depicts delicate emotions and inner conflicts, and is also the vocalist for the second story of "Tsuki Eimi," a music project led by composer Yurii Kanon.
