Description:
Strelle's "Figaro" is now on the latest video! And the superb Frittoli's Countess! Giorgio Strelle (1921-1997) was one of the leading directors of the second half of the 20th century and made great achievements in the field of opera. One of his most famous works is "The Marriage of Figaro," which he produced for the Paris Opera in 1973. The production was also widely performed outside of the Paris Opera House, and several videos have been made of it. Strelle's production is a lively stage full of talent while respecting tradition without being eccentric. If you like "The Marriage of Figaro," you should see this production at least once. As for the singers, Barbara Frittoli's Countess is the best! She has been a great singer in this role since she was a young singer, and her reputation as a prima donna of Italian opera remains overwhelmingly strong.Ludovic Tézier, who has grown into one of France's leading baritones, plays the Count with a manly charm, Luca Pisaroni's Figaro has the vigor and sharpness that make him the picture of a dandy, Ekaterina Ciurina is Susanna with her slightly innocent cuteness, and Carine Deaye's Cherubino is very popular for her French elegance and excellent acting. Carine Deaye's Cherubino, who is very popular for her French elegance and excellent acting ability, is very strong in the leading roles. The cast also includes veterans such as Anne Amaray as Marcellina and Robert Lloyd as Bartolo. Philippe Jordin's conducting has a sense of stability that is distinctly different from the crisp, old-fashioned Mozart, and is a perfect match for Strehl's direction. King International
