This is a collection of Debussy and other songs sung by soprano Sheva Theoval, who was born in Brussels as the daughter of a blues musician and had already fallen in love with French art songs as a teenager. Sheva Theoval came to Germany at the age of 18 and acquired a large repertoire of songs at the Cologne University of Music and Dance and later at the Royal Academy of Music in London. At the age of 23, she became the youngest ever winner of the Queen Elisabeth International Competition. Tokyo M-Plus
