Description:

Born in Blackburn, England in 1978, Week studied music at Cambridge with Michael Finnissy and received his Ph.D. in composition from the University of Southampton. since 2005, he has focused on writing small orchestral works in pursuit of high-density polyphonic polyphonic density. They vary from vocal ensembles to the ensembles for instrumental music on this album, but they are all quite experimental, looking at the process of musical structure, sometimes thoroughly repeating material in a minimalist style, and the music is full of inspiration and evolution Recorded 2013-2015.
