PEACEVILLE is pleased to announce the first single CD/LP reissue of the classic 1990 first album by Stench Death Crusties PROPHECY OF DOOM, who were dark in the British Empire in the late 80s and early 90s. Formed in Gloucestershire in 1988 with vocalist Shrew Schroder and bassist Martin Holt, the band released a demo in 1988 and an EP, CALCULATED MIND RAPE, the following year. After a change of members, the band released their debut full-length in 1990, which was also included in the 2019 release of the edited edition "RETROSPECTIVE 1988-1991", but many are rejoicing that this is the first solo reissue. The vocals are reminiscent of early CARCASS, and the mid-tempo style is heavy with an evil and corrupt sound that crawls and crawls, and Shrew's philosophical lyrics create the world of "PROPHECY OF DOOM" in this masterpiece of stench metal crust. 9 tracks in total.
